Another substitution. Hambley off - Heath on.  May have something to do with Hambley escaping a sending off for 'hand to face' incident.  Shocked

I suppose we should be very very grateful for the point, but how on earth did we not beat that lot? One lucky effort on goal, one goal, and all they did was hoof the ball a million miles into the air every time. Keeper was very very dodgey - shame it only took us 60-odd mins to figure it out. JJ was perhaps at fault for the goal when he punched instead of catching the ball, but once again, the attack came from the left-hand side. This was the weakest link for us today. Neither Bert or Hambley in front of him were 'at the races' today. Bert was truly awful in the 1st half and wasn't much better in the second either. Bealesy and Chopper were solid as usual. I thought Razor was brilliant at right-back and was deservedly named M.O.M. Dobla didn't have his best game and Parkesy struggled. Afraid to say it but I think we missed Danny Lye. Barnesy was brilliant when he had the ball but found it very difficult to get any kind of service. Jay May played very well, won most things in the air and caped it off with a fine left-footed finish in injury time. Warren still looks a little off the pace. Luke looked fantastic when he came on, and did well in an unfamiliar position to him. He seemed to start off just behind the front two and gradually moved backwards. Jon Heath and Leroy did OK.

Definitely going to have to improve our finishing. Luke blasted against the crossbar. Warren scraped the post. Bert went just wide. Maybe it wasn't our day today but we need to give strikers better service, IMO. Hopefully we'll see a better performance and 3 points at Banstead on Tuesday.  Smiley

Their goal came from an attack down the left-hand side. The ball was crossed over to the far post where JJ seemed to have claimed it comfortably but punched it. The ball ricoched off of their strikers' leg and into an open goal.......
