The way I see it there are two possibilities here:

1) West Ham will save Wimbledon;
2) Wimbledon will totally destroy any small chance that West Ham might still have.

If the FA doesn't give West Ham a similar punishemnt to Wimbledon, especially given that Wimbledon's error was a small problem with paperwork whereas West Ham's deal always looked dodgy, Wimbledon have the profile, PR & lawyers to make the FA look like a complete bunch of ****s, which given their recent record is the last thing that the FA want.
