It's a shame that some supporters feel they cannot express their opinion on these pages any more thanks to a minority of big-mouths who far too often love to hear the sound of their own voice.

I encourage all those who have been quiet recently and voiced their concerns to me in person, to speak up and join others in giving their fair assessment of the chances of the team this season and the state of the club in general.

Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion and not feel continually 'shot down' by the same names over and over, so let's all show each other some common courtesy without resorting to brainless abuse.

There's no harm in a bit of pre-season optimism, but that is all it is and there is no need whatsoever for attacking your fellow forum members.

I will back up my previous comment - I have seen nothing in the friendlies to suggest that we are going to go up this season (one of the four strikers scoring more than one goal in the 12 games), but like everyone else will be behind the lads all the way.

If that's the case that's fine but the fact remains that I have to be alert as similar posts have been reported to the moderators before. Which I just told you, but you ignored it.  Roll Eyes

    The Off-Side Rule - Amendment
« on: Tuesday, 19 July, 2005, 20:51.43 »
Taken from www.bbc.co.uk

"You can expect to see what would appear to be very late decisions by assistant referees this season, as they won't raise their flag until a player touches the ball".

And, just to be helpful - you can read the rest of the amendment on page 4 of the Angel Hotel.... Tongue

Budget = Why, with the larger budget has the begging bowl come out for Razor?

the answer is beacuse the squad up to razor joining took up all the budget.

However I can now confirm that adjustments have been made and all on the squad can be kept

Thanks Pete, it's good to get the info coming through.  Smiley

OK, time to confess - the confidence in my original poll was a bit tongue in cheek...I'm far from assuming the league's there for the taking and I reckon the play-offs is probably more realistic. Still, you never know - the early fixtures I think are quite kind to us and could give us the chance to build up a head of steam. Reluctantly I've have to say Dover are probably the best bet, while Horsham have a decent chance and I'd also tip Cray as dark horses - but that's ok,. cos we love Cray!

I think that the clubs we can expect to be up and around the top end of the table are Dover, Horsham, Cray, Dulwich, Met Police and possibly Ramsgate and Kingstonian. I'm fully expecting a top-two finish. Funnily enough I was quite enjoying everyones opinion of where we wouuld finish.......

Why can't people enjoy banter without others spoiling it?!

I'm a lover, not a fighter...... 2funny
