Hampton for the title?
« on: Monday, 29 January, 2007, 13:17.34 »

At one point they were 66/1 for the title and when we played them they looked relegation material. When they lost the next match after playing us their record was P5 D4 L6. Now, their record is P15 D5 L6 (10 wins and 1 draw in last 11) and they're one point off the top after beating Margate. Hampton for the title anyone? Who'd a thought it?  Huh

Funny what a few wins on the bounce can do huh? Confidence is surely flying at the moment!

I don't think they're up to Margate or Bromley's standards and they will probably cock-up the playoffs should they get there, like in previous years. Grin

Any reason why they were able to turn around their season? Was it new players, new manager or an old fashioned kick up the backdise from the manager?
