I so want Torquay to win every game Jane but it doesn't happen often. You might be interested to know that I believe yesterday's stoppage time equaliser by Bury (albeit a penalty) was the ninth game this season that Torquay have squandered points by conceding goals in stoppage time. (Lincoln actually scored twice in stoppage time back in September to take all three points when I was down there !!) I suspected the worst when my text messager went off a minute or two too early yesterday for it to have been full time !!

I think this will be an interesting week at Plainmoor both within the club & outside of it !

Isn't it the case that the Chairman wasn't the majority shareholder? If so it could get worse before it gets better.

Chief executive Debbie Hancox told the club's website: "On Monday, we were made redundant, then on Monday evening we were reinstated with the promise of a new owner for Torquay United with immediate effect.

"The newer owner was due to meet with all the staff yesterday (Tuesday) morning and we are still waiting."

So it looks like a shambles at the moment.
