I missed the Boreham Wood game, but this was a much better performance than the last few weeks.  They looked like they wanted to play football.Thought Steve Aris played a lot better than he has in other games recently. Mainy caused problems up front again. We seem to have more ball control now Gooding and Kember are back. Great holiday period so far, three more points on Saturday please.   Smiley

Another entertaining performance from the Angels, again we played some great football today. Both goals set up by Power and Main linking together and tap-ins by Logan and Barnes respectively.

Folkestone = kick and chase, boring.  Roll Eyes

Line ups:
Kerr, Powell, Gooding, Kember, Aris, Beales, Barnes, Storey, Power, Main, Logan.
Subs Maxwell (for Power), Piscina (for Main), Parkes (for Kember).

Agree with Liz that Steve Aris played much more like his old self today,he and Bealsey looked very much in control, also thought that Scott Gooding and Razor played well,as did Barnsey, thought Robbie Kember's passing was poor today, he will hopefully be back to his best with a few more games under his belt.
John Main was again terrific, defenders find it impossible to keep up with his pace.
All in all a very encouraging last few day's work by the team, well done to everyone.

Brilliant team performance from the lads yesterday. Played some really good football, pleasure to watch. Finding it really difficult to pick a Man of the Match as all 11 players were superb. Probably Chopper for me. Cheesy

Folkestone were poor, possbly the worst I've seen this season. Can't remember Aaron having to make a save? Long ball for 90mins.

Two wins on the bounce and I don't think it's any coincidence we've got going again once Scotty and Robbie return. Grin

Bring on the Ramsgit! Cheesy

Shame they don't seem to agree Gazza!!

From the Folkestone forum:

"Not a lot of positives I agree. The worst part being that they were no better than us. Id say lucky if they finish mid table, they were that boring Embarassed . However, they did a 'job' on us."

I guess someone had a bit too much Christmas Spirit !!!  2funny

Great result  Afro , pity couldn't make it  Cry .

Cry Another pity was that we couldn't have nice derby game for boxing day like almost everyone else in the league did yesterday.

I think that everyone needs to drum up  knuppel2 knuppel2 police knuppel2 knuppel2 as much support for Saturday's game so we can get the sort of crowd that most other games got yesterday  Smiley .
