U14's trials
« on: Monday, 27 June, 2005, 21:58.59 »

I read in the Courier that we are inviting players of Kent Youth League ability, for next season's U14's to come along to the Angels this Thursday 30th June to join in with training sessions. 6.45pm at the Stadium's main entrance.

Hope there will be a good turn out   Smiley

How did the trials go? I think Nick Wing as Head of Youth Football organised the evening.

Did many trialists turn up? Was it a good training session? I hope it was a success.  Smiley

It was a good turn out. I would say 9 or 10 new lads turned up as well as last season's squad.
The quality of the lads was also good and the club will be holding another session this week (Thursday 7th July) to have another look. Same time and place.

Good to hear you had a very reasonable turn out of new players.

You said same time and place....If you are on the playing fields can you make sure you are not on the first pitch, cos i like to sit on the bench infront of the changing rooms to watch my son training and i believe his resumes this coming thursday  Roll Eyes

Thanks for saving me my bench, or was it because Blewy beat you to the pitch?

I could see the U14's had a good turnout. Glad to see trialists getting a fair chance and a good training session. Well done  Smiley
