It was a good game to watch and a great start for your lads taking a 4-0 lead after about 25 minutes although you almost chucked it all away by letting them bring it back to 4-3.

One or two players looked really good tonight and a great little goal by the young lad Ashley Dann.

I missed the 1st goal as i was talking and just caught the 2nd.

Pity about your attendance though i was expecting to see a few more than that turn out, even if it is just a county cup.

And how could you let the Gravesend few out sing you, that should never be aloud. Afro

Well worth the entrance fee, especially the company that i kept. buck2

to be honest i dont think any of the barmy really expected more than a couple of goals, maybe 2-1 angels if we got a break. Then being 4-0 up after 25 mins kind of made it seem surreal.

To use a  phrase i heard tonight, "it was like being on the playstation".

A fantastic game of football with goals at both ends.

I dont know who voted for Bromby as MOM, cos that first gravesend goal was hideous, maybe who evre did vote for him wants to borrow my glasses?Huh

a really enjoyable evening, even though that russian beer tastes like its the drainage off the south east corner of the pitch  tickedoff

Dear Aaron, you were at the other end of the ground with your glasses all steamed up which obviously means you failed to see how many saves and good moves Bromby made  Roll Eyes Even the G&N faithful behind the goal thought he was Kerr......!  2funny

He's a striker. His job is to put the ball in the back of the net. Job done. Grin

Thought O'Brian had a good game in the middle, would probably give it to him and maybe jusify a start at East Thurrock.. might excel on the tougher pitches.
Lots of good performances really, hard to pick one.
Interesting to watch these mickey mouse cup games. Stating the obvious but totally different ball game, lots of space available with players having alot more time on the ball. etc. Thought their no.11 was tidy player whoever he was.

Yeah, agree with you there DGD (see my first post in this thread). Afro

George Purcell his name was, only 18, ex-Gills. Plenty of pace and a decent left-foot.
