Angels 7-3 Gravesend
« on: Tuesday, 28 November, 2006, 22:26.15 »

Thoroughly entertaining evening! 10 goals for just £2! Afro

Kerr, Gooding, Heath, Kember, Kinch, Logan and Main all rested (Piscina, Maxwell and Aris subbed), gave the rest of the first-teamers and a couple of ressies/youths a taster.

Thought Shaggy was awesome tonight, my Man of the Match. Cheesy

Gravesend fielded quite a young side, only around 3-4 first teamers. Purcell (No.11) looked pretty good and was the only guy that stood out for them for me.

Onto the next round - and hopefully as much laughter as this evening.... Grin

Yeah, hopefully Luke's goal and Taffy's four will kick-start their season, if you know what I mean. Cheesy

Also good to see young Ashley Danns getting on the scoresheet on his first-team debut. Afro

Hopefully Luke's substitution was just a precaution - plenty of positives to take from the game though. Afro

Gave my vote to Lukey thought he was class tonight, was seriously worried Gravesend were going to overcome us after Luke had to be subbed off. Considering conditions both teams played some good football.

I was glad to see that Lukes replacement Ashley Dann at just turned 17 came on and scored a goal!  Cheesy

As for the lack of support tonight (disgrace) i think we live in a fairly rich area and the coiffure bills overode the footy!  Shocked
