Upcoming Fixtures
« on: Sunday, 08 October, 2006, 17:46.08 »

Part copied from my post in Leyton thread:-
3 tough matches in the last 7 days or so, players out with suspensions, injuries and flu. Welcome to football.  Grin
Just had a look at the fixtures. It's gonna be well tough... Midweeker Tuesday, The Cup game Saturday, midweek game after that whatever happens, then we have Harlow who are flying high, unbeaten in the Trophy!  Shocked
That is without the KSC and Westview cup if we were to get through.
So a real tough run... I'm beginning to think if we get past Cheshunt then I don't think it will be a bad thing if we lost to Harlow!  Grin
With all these cup games around at the moment this could be the toughest test for the club this season. The way the fixtures have been laid out haven't helped either but that's life.  Smiley At least Harlow have a midweeker prior to Saturday.

The fixtures we have in October and November are really going to shape our season and this is probably when we'll see what we're made of.

As far as league fixtures go...Bromley, AFC, Chelmsford, Billericay and Margate all coming up. Will we still be up in the playoff positions or would will we fall back to mid-table? We'll soon find out!

Add to that the Westview Cup, FA Trophy, FA Cup and Kent Senior Cup games....

I think we may fall back a bit in the next month or two, particularly with all the cup games, but I think we can come back particularly if we found another good signing or two.

May I remind you that on Thursday night (12 October), Tonbridge Angels play Bromley in the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup (Sponsored by E.ON), at the Betterview Longmead Stadium.

I am sure the players would appreciate your support.

Yes it would...  we'd be £1,300 worse off ......

Even with a good FA Cup run £1300 would still come in very handy.
