I couldn't agree more Mary, but I thought that the whole idea of international football was to promote nationalism. Maybe the one person who wanted to watch the Scotland match was French?

Cmon people, get behind your country! knuppel2

I'm sure the lads will want to erase the Macedonia game from everyone's memories asap and turn in a decent performance tonight and get three points. Cheesy

Quite right Gaz, I personally couldn't give a s**t how any other nation does, I'm English not British! In fact I quite like to see Wales, Scotland and Ireland do badly when it comes to Football. It wasn't a good performance on Sat but hopefully we can put it right tonight!

Exactly my point Mike. How many pubs in Glasgow would have been showing the England game in preference to the Scotland one. And if there had been "someone" watching the other game, would they have cooked him first before dining?

Is there a game tonight? The excitement surrounding England matches has completely died for me since Steve "The most boring man in the world" McClaren took over.

It's actually 2-0, if you haven't watched it then you have missed one of the comedy own-goals of all time.

Nice one lads! Well done for getting behind your country! knuppel2

Can you honestly say, Dan, you prefer Sven to Steve McLaren? It's a 100% improvement from the uninventive Swede!

Admittedly I haven't seen the own goal yet but apparently the pitch was to blame - which doesn't surprise me at all, having seen several eastern european pitches over the years.

Who says I wasn't behind my country tonight  knuppel2

The Premiership may well be the best league in the world but that's beacuse the best players in the Premiership aren't English. At the moment we are just not good enough to compete with even the mediocre teams, let alone the best in the World.

Let's face it, the FA didn't want McLaren, he's the compromise manager. If Barwick hadn't f**ked up landing Scolari, maybe just maybe things would be different but he'd have his work cut out dealing with this bunch of overpaid Z list celebrities. McLaren is hardly an improvement over Sh*gger Eriksson, more like Graham Turnip Taylor.

Will McLaren's reign be the shortest ever?
