Goal either side of half-time for Bromley. Angels played well in patches but overall just weren't enough of a match for their Premier Division hosts.

Don't vote for him then! He had a good solid game and was a better debut than most I have seen recently. Razor very nearly got into the poll but for blasting that shot over in the first half and a few other errors in the second, but if you are looking for someone who actually did have a bad game, look no further than Barnes who was going through the motions last night - Nick please look a bit more motivated next Saturday! Maybe he's bored with all these friendlies too.  Roll Eyes

I really enjoyed the first half. A good physical game full of action.

I was glad to see Razor, though small in stature has such aggression aswell as skill in his game - Dennis Wise or what?!? And Jay May, he wouldn't be pushed around either. They soon put Bromley's gobby number 5 in his place   Grin

Moppy got about well, unfortunately conceding a penalty, from what i saw it shouldn't have been! And later in the game he picked up a nasty knock to his face. Danny was putting himself about and attacking the game, and had some shots, which much to the amusement of my fellow supporters showed he needs a little more sense of direction! And Bert had a far more controlled game.  Kiss

Chris Holmes on his debut was confident. I was disappointed in Barnes. When i watched him at Hythe he was superb, last night far too quiet.  Huh

Leroy was as effective to the Bromley defence as a gnat! And not a bleeding goal in sight! I'd have liked to have seen more of Luke. He's looking so sharp and confident.  Shocked

First half MOM for me was Razor. But overall my vote had to go to Jay May  Smiley

Yo guys, I'm back in the land of the living (I think). Was unable to get to Folkestone or Bromley coz was laid up in a very uncomfortable hospital bed, not recommended.  Wink

Anyone got line-up for last night, and any other details?
Whats happening to all these players? I've lost count...... Embarrassed

This was the sort of game we should expect this season; hard, difficult and scrappy. I think the number of pre-season games played has had an adverse effect, but I also think that some of the fringe squad players are going to struggle. At Bromley there were signs that some were tired and jaded and some just struggling to keep up. Can we please have some news of Smith's injury, also what is happening with Ray Powell, I understand that at last night he hasn't signed yet.

Sorry all - no pics from last nights game as I have just started a new job this week (after a 4 month holiday  coolsmiley) and don't get back early enough to get to weekday away games.
Weekday Homes will be OK though.

to answer the post above
Darren Smiths ankle-swelling has gone down he was seeing a physio today to see if there is any serious damage

Razor hasnt 'signed' as no one really signs -they are all on week to week contracts. The money still needs to be found or players released though.
