Definitely not., I've never come across so massive a pre-season programme. I'd like to know what the reasoning behind it is?

2. Create more revenue for TAFC is the most likely reason
is understandable that the club should try to maximise pre season revenue but i feel this has been taken too far
all games and the squad have had very few training sessions. so much of the character within good teams is built around the banter that you can get at training....
also a bit unfair on the players/ triallists trying to break into the side, as the management often watch them for 5 mins at the end of the match, when the game is often all but finished. Surely a few 90 minute training sessions should be a better way to judge a player? ??

12 'friendlies' in all it will be once we have played East Thurrock. As I have commented previously, I reckon this is 4 to 5 too many.
If Teletext is to be believed Steve Aris has also picked up a knock. The club shouldn't be in the position of having so many walking wounded before the season has even started and with 50 + games to go.
