i think you will find that steve   "the hitman" hearn
although crap
was part of the only championship winning side in my life time
all be it the kent league

Me too, but..... so what?
Kent league, mickey mouse stuff, not real football.
Herne Bay were better that season. Better players. Dunno what happened to them towards the end. Owned us at their place and ours, albeit came for the draw.
Last season getting promotion from Ryman one was 1000 times better. Much more of an achievement.
Cant do smiley but would be kent league is sh*t .  Grin

You mean that sport with sticks?  Roll Eyes It ain't footy!  Angry

And what a treat the masses missed today. I think we went in at the break 1-1. Our dodgy keeper had to be replaced (suspected dislocated finger) by the legend that is 'Rock Steady' Eddie Senchery. So, the keeper baiters behind the goal (rowdy lot) were in their element watching the fourth (unstoppable  Wink ) goal put past him. Final score was 5-3 i think.  Cheesy

Some masterful performances displayed today from the Angels team that had a combined age of around 1,000  Cheesy as opposed to a very youthful and slim Diamond team. Gosh thier keeper was good.

It could have been a much closer scoreline if only the officials cheated. No amount of coercing could persuade the lino to flag offside  Undecided
