 Gaz wasn't the only one putting down O.H. During the world cup the BBC site was loaded with negative thoughts him.  England had to win that game, plus Wedsday's game. The 2 weakest teams.?

Forget what the media thought of him, their opinion is always a joke. Steve McClaren is the golden boy right now but you can be sure they will be slating him as soon as we lose an important game, play a half-decent team and don't score more than two, or he picks a player they don't like.
Look at the disgraceful way Sven has been treated, the media appear to be brainwashing the country into thinking he was the worst manager we have ever had, when I don't think any other manager aside from Sir Alf has taken us to three successive QFs - Taylor, Robson, Revie and even Ramsay all failed to qualify for major tournaments and Venables won two competitive games out of five on home turf, but hey the gutter tabloids say SGE was crap so it must be true.
