Angels went 1-0 up inside two minutes with a Nick Barnes penalty. Angels controlled the first half but were unable to extend their lead. Wells responded in the second half with four goals before Jon Main pulled one back near the end.

Good job it was a pre-season friendly cos that was a pretty strong contender for worst Angels performance I've ever seen. I always assume PSFs are pretty meaningless - and now I'm certainly hoping so!

Sounds a bit dismal. Would have thought we should be brushing aside teams like Tun Wells  Huh

should, yes. 1st half was ok - going through the motions really. 2nd half defending [and goalkeeping I hate to say] was a shambles.  This is not meant as sour grapes but TW looked very ordinary to me and letting them put 4 past us is no joke, friendly or not

Was not at the game so can't really comment on any individual performances but one observation regarding goalkeeping i noticed.
Surely it is a little harsh to cricise when our best central defender Beales did not even start the game. It will take time for the goalkeeper and defence to come to an understanding and this is only the second game Kerr has started. I note that according to the official site Gooding started where Beales would normally then Beales himself came on at half time. This represents a change in formation and an important one in as much as goalies and defenders need to know who it taking which players or which part of the box when defending crosses.
So dont be down hearted rather be happy that at last the "Wells" can get involved in such a game and make it a worthwhile excercise for both teams.
Bet we dont start with the same formation in the next game !
