tony dolby is in advanced talks with ray 'razor' powell tonight.... however in order for him to make hisreturn to longmead we are in need of some more money as we cannot at this moment increase the wage budget...
there will be a fundraising process which olddnownewangel will explain in around an hour but basically sign up to the ASO and give cash as the money from that will be directed straight into the wage budget meaning we can sign razor ...

Right-just back in from cricket and equalling a club record with 3 stumpings in 1 game 
Spoken to dobla and he is talking to razor whose job has moved to Sevenoaks and wants to return.
However at this time Tony is slightly over his budget and needs some extra funds to be able to conclude the deal.
he has asked me to help and I intend talking to 1 or 2 contacts over the next couple of days to see if some cash can be raised but it would be a great start if we the fans can help swell the pot.
I might add this was exactly the reason the ASO was touted.
So if anyone wants to help with ANY amount please email ASO@tonbridgeangels.co.uk either donations or a subscription to the ASO will help but every single penny raised will got to the RAzor fund.
To answer CMCFs point ,the problem is that to balance the books we would probably have to release more than one player and they would have to be the higher earners which in turn means the better players. Dobla is reluctant to release anyone pre-season especially his core 6 or 7 which I am sure we can understand - anyone want to see Luke, Leroy. JJ , Chopper etc etc let go? No me neither.
There isnt much needs to be said about Razor -everyone knows what we will be getting.
Time for the fans to help out get the team back to the Premier.
I will keep you posted on my success (or not) over the next few days-although Im off to glasgow for 2 days so dont expect anything more till Tuesday.

the initial figure I am looking at is £1500. If I can pull off one deal I hope to break the back of that in one go. But the more I can get from other sources the better.

can they take money from the advertising boards around the ground
i put details of them up on the website earlier and we would only need to sell 7 boards and weve got that money
or 3 full page colours adverts in the programme
its an idea....
