Can we now say that this is going to be our squad, without any more coming  and goings for the next few weeks? Huh

unfortunately i was not there saturday so if my comments are unjust i will take them back.

To say i'm dissappointed is an understatement. Angry
by all accounts a crap performance and we were crap tactically.
with all the hype of getting "the right players" in coupled with adequate pre-season friendlies - we still couldnt get it right against, arguably, a league minnow.

only one game you say. well watch this space.

a few errors are forgivable but less than 100% commitment is not.
losing is never an option.

I think your posting should have gone under the Angels v Fleet thread too.

Perhaps we are having a knee-jerk reaction, i was not there either! But, it is very disappointing and a real wake up call to have lost against one of the 'lesser' teams.

Football - to quote a legend is 'A funny old game'. We may well win the next four and we will be jumping on the band wagon like everyone else in praise of the team, the management and anyone else and his dog! From villains to heros overnight, at least it was that way last season.......

It's good to get an honest opinion though  Smiley

We didn't lose, Jane!

Although from the performance we may as well have done.  Tongue

Fleet have always been one of those bogey sides that cause problems whoever they play. Tomorrow night will be a different story I think as Banstead will struggle this season. Nothing less than 3 points please lads.  Smiley

Where did Fleet end up in the division at the end of last season?

They finished 19th I think in Isthmian Division One last season, JM  Smiley

But as Mike said, they were an unknown quantity with a completely new squad and new manager....
