Can you include Neil Ruddock when he smacked home a free kick in a charity game before dissapearing back into the changing rooms.

He was wearing an Angels shirt.........just!!

Erm....disqualified due to knocking us out of the cup whilst playing for the so-called team whose name shall not be mentioned!  Angry Sad

What a long "short" journey home that was - now let me forget!  Embarrassed

I can't really add too many names to the list, but one that springs to mind is Leroy Bess, a flying winger who always got the crowd going when he got the ball and went chrging off towards the opposition goal.

Hello all, my first post on this site... I was a 'regular' at the Angel Ground as a kid, '69-'75 ish, and at Longmead from '81-'84. Have only seen the odd game since then, ashamed to say, but always keep up with how the team are getting on. Wish I'd been at the Fisher FA Cup game, must have been a great day!
Anyway, Ipswich Angel has just added the name I was going to suggest - LEEE-ROY Bess, who I remember scoring a 40 yard screamer on a Tues night in a 7-0 rout. Can't remember who the opposition were...
I'd also like to add my support for Archie Thorburn and Mark Gillham.
Cheers.

I have received an e-mail nominating (among others already on the list) Bob Hailstones, Ron Saunders and Fred Crump.
