 :onot bothered to trawl through the ten pages but any one mention  archie thorburn   saw him in t wells corals last sat urday when backing the WINNER  !!!

i thought he was an exciting player every time he got the ball  something happened goal or otherwise.  2funny

Surprised no-one has yet to mention our right winger Johnny Saunders who replaced Gerry Francis (as far as I remember) and who can forget goalie Fred Crump with his runs outside the penalty area from time to time.    Cheesy

Was Geoff truett ever young?...What a player and must be included in the book!

Man, we had a crap squad that season (Arter and Tingley excepted of course!)

Steve Lovell had a good season although past his best, and Matt Lemoine was always a good player. Rob Owen of course went on to better things, shame he didn't stay on with us.

What happened to the Lemoines? I don't remember Rob Owen being amazing for us and he only played a few games. Gibbs and Mortley were a good centreback pair. Gibbs wa player of the season I think?
