obviously joe radford
can't believe you had to suggest it
he was first name on anybodies list
do you remember when he let goals in because he couldn't be bothered to dive
or when he insisted playing on with a dislocated spine

EVERYONE

This is your last chance to nominate players for the Legends Shortlist. I will then organise for the shortlist to be whittled down to the final 20 for the book.  Afro

Just aquired some pics today of 1952-53 squad and a few other pics with the names of D.Dimmer and Skivington, do these names ring any bells for you older angels fans. Would these be of any interest for the book. Smiley

So many legends over the years.  Have thought long and hard and whittled down my list to:
Phil Stonebridge
John Keirs
Mark Gilham
Dave Arter
Danny Tingley
Mark Freeman

If this is still running would like to nominate one or two others from 50's and 60's.
Jimmy Kirk (shared goalkeeping duties with Tommy Bickerstaff and still lives in Tonbridge)
Peter Lovell
Tony Burns
Joey Ball (remember his long distance goals floated in from the left wing?)
Norman Hooper

I think Bobby Hailstones deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, he played for Tonbridge way back in late fifties/early sixties. I think he was a Scottish B International, the guy was a class act and a total gentleman.
