Tommy Bickerstaff
Ray White
Mickey Angel
Archie Thorburn (would be an interesting story!!)

Not one of Tonbridge's best, but anybody remember Colin Guy, who I believe was Tonbridge's first £1,000 signing from Dorchester, if I am correct.

I would also throw in a vote for Pam and Tony Westguard.

And the old dear who used to serve behind the bar in the old pavilion, who saw me stark naked on my stag night in that said pavilion!! But that's another story.

I couldn't include Hamid Barr in my list as he was here for such a short time.

My nominations would be:

Danny Tingley
Joe Carolan
Jerry Francis
Johnny Kilford
Joe Radford

Harry Haslam
Phil Emblen
Pat & Tony Westguard
'Slim' - never new his real name but he always had the bath ready after the game down at the old 'Angel'.
Lorraine Parkes

There are so many players and people behind the scenes that have done so much fot TAFC that you could probably get 50 in that book.

Yes John Keirs! As I said in another thread he was our Bobby Moore - awesome centre half and scored more than the centre forward! When he was manager so nearly got us promotion. Tonbridge legend, R.I.P John.

I remember Jock Munn and Joe Carolan 'sorting out' the Merthyr goalkeeper. They probably would have been banged up if it happened now. Happy Days!

To echo some others:

Phil Stonebridge
John Kiers
Geoff Truett
Mark Gilham
Ian Seymour
Danny Tingley
Tony Booth

Slim was Slim Stapely. I think that he was my uncle's neighbour in Lawrence Road. He passed away about the same time that we changed ground.
