Just stumbled across this topic and spotted a few names of players who are featured on my Margate FC History site, might be worth a look for those who remember the following.....

John Keirs
Dave Crush
Joe Radford
Paul Collins

...not sure if the Tonbridge John Hold was the same player as the Margate one - ex Northampton striker ?  If he did play for you it's news to me.

How about Vic Pain or Garry Aldous for your list - both featured on my site too.

Can anybody help me out with a better photo of Paul Collins ?

Only one player ..... Paul Emblen... what a player.  When I first started watching a Tonbridge in the 1990s, he was a total star, then I had a pleasure of  seeing put on the blue and white strip shirt of the super seagulls (Brighton of course) and was the main attraction for his short loan spell for us.  I still kick myself for missing his league hat trick on boxing day.  When he returned to the angels, we saw flashes of his brilliance, but football can be a cruel business and injury ended his career.  Top man, even if he was ginger!!!!

What about Morson. Such a legend I can't remember his first name.  But he was great fun.

Quality left winger, great crosser of the ball. Bit of a star in our Kent League days. Had a great game against Yeovil in the FA Cup - caused them all sorts of problems........
