I much prefer standing. I feel sorry for fans who are forced to sit in the league clubs. Hillsborough was obviously a terrible day, but surely it had nothing to do with seating or non-seating? A wire fence with limited escape (none), and thousands of people rushing to get in the ground. Shocking 'governing', 'organisation' , or whatever the word is. Whoever's idea it was to have a wire fence like that should have been hung. The football fans got punished... many of those fans who died loved standing obviously. Seating has it's merits from a safety point of view but I still feel it was political correctness gone mad. There were other, better solutions. I could never support a football club sitting down. I woudn't bother going. Still, that is only my opinion.
