No places for Ledley King or Darren Bent, which surprises me. Good to see a few fresh young faces included though...

True.......but so are Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen. Brilliant to see Sven throw in a few youngsters such as Walcott, Lennon and Downing. I'd like to see Nigel Reo-Coker given the chance instead of Owen 'eeyore' Hargreaves.

Svens answer about having Rooney and Owen in the squad but not King was, We do have cover in defense but we need our best 2 strikers to be given a chance to prove themselves with their fitness. Owen has started playing again so it is only Rooney as far as i know that is injured at the moment. Players like Campbell,A Cole and Owen hopefully just need games for match fitness now.

Why is Owen Hargreaves included?!?! Whenever he comes on for England he's done f**k all, when Reo-Coker has been in amazing form for West Ham

Probably alot more than you, Dan.... Wink

Agree with Fenners, Hargreaves never has been and never will be England standard's! Reo-Coker or even Matty Etherington would have been a better option, in my opinion.
