Just want to say congratulations on your result against us today. You were better than us in every department. We gave it ago in the last few minutes, but you cannot give away 3 goals, then miss a pen, and still expect to take anything out of the match.

Thought your front two were excellent today and will be a right pair in the Premier League next season.

Finally, at the end of the day, you finished higher than every other play off side so you fully deserve promotion. Congratulations, and all the best for next season.

ps - and where are the Dolby boo boys now?

Agree with everything you say there Stevey - cheers. Hang on though, we dont  suddenly want Angels and Dover fans to start agreeing do we???  smitten

You deserve better than Walker and Parmenter. Better luck next season and beat Maidscum for us.

The Dover fans owe alot to Jim Parmenter and the board for saving our club and going along way to paying off our debts which have crippled this club over the past few seasons. I think alot of the criticism relating to Jim has been blown out of all proportion by certain individuals this season, and he does get alot of undeserved bad press.

As for Clive Walker, well both you and us were calling for our managers heads a few months ago. Yours pulled a rabbit out of a sack and won promotion, ours pulled out a 3 legged donkey!

Anyway, well done again, I certainly have got no complaints about the result and the overall outcome. We didnt lose promotion today, we lost it over about 30 games in the middle of the season!!!

Thanks stevey! Thought you guys were bit predictable but you made a great fightback . Great atmosphere today. Did we give your singers run for their money?

Thanks Stevie I welcome the good grace with which you and the rest of the terrific Dover supporters have accepted the result today and I was one of the first to shake the hand of J.P. when he came into the bar after the match.
Non league football is a tough tough game and those of us who are old and wise enough have all felt the sort of disapointment you are feeling right now.
I would like to believe that Tonbridge Angels could match that good grace given the boot being on the other foot.
In spite of all that has been said over the last two years I would like to wish you all the very best next season and I cannot wait see you back at "Longmead".

As long as it's not in the Ryman Div 1 Smiley Smiley

Couple of points about the game. I thought the sending off was very harsh,OK a booking for taking his shirt off but the second one was no different to every other ariel challenge in the game.Once again an incompentent official influencing a game. Thought the penalty was fair ,but ball to hand and the performance of your player(spiller I think) in trying to get the culprit sent off was quite descipable.
But there you go I think your fans behaved well today far better than your board.

Well done Tonbridge. Looking forward to visiting Longmead next season again. Always been one of my favourite grounds because of the cover behind both goals. Lots of Kent derbies next season  Cool
