Professional performance from the Angels this evening, meaning just a point is needed at Corinthian Casuals on Saturday to guarentee third place. Second clean sheet on the bounce too.

JJ was outstanding before we got the second goal, made a couple of superb saves. Fraser put in some dangerous crosses and put away his goal well, seemed much more involved than in the last couple of games. I thought Dobla was solid in the middle and OB alongside him looked class, despite a few mistimed challenges. Razor was class again.

Molesey didn't ever look like scoring to be honest, Phil Ruggles was absolutely silent bearing in mind he's the leading goalscorer in the league.

Well done lads.... Cheesy

I totally agree Gazza. Professional sums it up.
Hoofing when needed, boot ball out the ground when needed, passing\movement  when needed, time waste when needed, foul\obstruct when needed, die for effort  when needed... etc.
That's how you win this league... effective,  not pretty 20 pass moves  Smiley .
I think some of the fans wanted more goals which is fair enough, but it would have been tough to make up on Met. Police GD, and to hold on to the win was more important I think
A very good performance. Well played team\management.

Well done team - a good run of results just when needed.

I notice that crowds are slightly down on last season, one of which is me of course! Sory about that. But have some thought for Merrow Town Fc of Combined Counties Division One whose average attendance is 8. That includes a crowd of 2 who turned up for the game v Worcester Park. At least the rounds would have been cheap.

I won't be able to keep track of the fist playoff game in real time (travelling) so expect to read good news later in the week.
