I suppose a draw wouldn't be too bad but obviously if we are serious about going up, we need to beat teams like this, especially with home advantage.

I think three points tomorrow night and we'll clinch 3rd spot, meaning two home games in the playoffs (should we get to the final, of course).

Let's make as much noise as we did on Saturday and really get behind the lads. Cheesy

3pts guarantees a home semi-final either for finishing 3rd or 4th.  A win would mean needing 1 point at CC on saturday which surely means we could give some players a rest for the big-un on Monday.

Interesting point there Dengal, perhaps an opportunity to give reserves/youth stars a chance. I'd like to see Parkesy, Phil Cramp and Mannie Neville in particular, in action against Corinthian Casuals on Saturday.

Yep, it's definately a squad game now. Tony has some tough decisions....
Knowing we are in playoffs, risk playing weakenened sides so we have our best players available for playoffs? even though we could risk getting an away tie?
Hmm, what would *you* do ?  Grin

We need to play a full-strength side tomorrow night to ensure a home semi. However Saturday you could afford to risk resting a few players as only a point would be needed to clinch 3rd place, assuming we win tomorrow.

It's a shame that the ressies have a game as you could probably play the whole team in Saturdays match.

personally i'd rather we went out full strength in both games as we're not in great form at the moment and need to find some before the play-offs.

Even though we are playing Corinthian Casuals who are bottom, we would still need a point so it would be a bit risky to play the entire Reserve team. I don't know if they are all registered with the Ryman League anyway.

We're in much better form than Tooting, Met Police, K's and Croydon who have all been somewhat struggling of late. Dover are the in-form side right now.

Maybe Dan but what would be really interesting is a game of 1st's v ressies. I'm not sure Tony would want it but i think it would be good to see. Perhaps pre season.
