Dover have recently chosen 'The Boyz are back in Town' by Thin Lizzy. We need something along those lines that really gets the atmosphere pumped.......

Some suggestions:
'Let me entertain you' by Robbie Williams
'Simply the best' by Tina Turner

What just like every other team in the world. If you don't have a proper team song then just get Tina Turner out (e.g. Cirencester - aarrgghh!). Gazza - NO!  tickedoff STOP THIS NONSENSE NOW!  knuppel2 I miss the old song - haven't heard it for so long. Loads of great memories, and some bad!  Smiley Sad

Im with you Dave. Its great to have an original song that no other club can use. As for music when we score. A bit tacky aint it. We wouldnt hear it behind the goal anyway. IMHO the atmoshere at Longmead doesnt need tampering with. Smiley

Well said Brian. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge of the club's history knows the current theme is unique and is etched into the Tonbridge Angels name! It has been around since the Kent League days and probably before.  Perhaps we could find the lyrics and have them in the 60th anniversary book?  Cool

I have been known to occasionally replace the Angels song with Fanfare For The Common Man, usually at the start of the game. I think it adds to the atmosphere especially for a big cup tie.

By the way Gazza those choices are awful.

a few errors are forgivable but less than 100% commitment is not.
