Surely the t**ser in charge of the changing rooms could have got confirmatiion from any Tonbridge official at the game as to whether or not thief was a genuine player.

On a separate note, that pitch at Burgess Hill has got to be one of the worst playing surfaces at this level. Bloody awful.

their forum at last makes mention of the incident- not a bloody word of contrition- just a 'how can the Tonbridge fans blame Tim?'

Tim nice but fu cking dim surely as stated all he had to do was ask rather than go 'help yourself'

its sheer negligence and they should be made to re-imburse all the losses.

and for their fans to then have a pop at Nick takes the p1ss

This is even more galling for the fact that it was common knowledge in Sussex that a "non league robber" was on the loose.

He had previously done the same at Sidley adding insult to injury by using one of the stolen phones to contact that club later.

Check out "Kent online"

No doubt about it this does ammount to negligence and an apology is the very least the unfortunate players deserve.

Just goes to show how important it is to get out of this "County League" A.S.A.P. knuppel2 knuppel2
