posting on southern league forum, u would love to be a supporter of claction.

There plight reminds me of Poole Town, who we played in the Southern League in 1995/96. I vaguely recall watching us beat them 5-0 at Longmead.
According to the archive, there season finished:

IIRC Poole were doomed from the start of the season. They had been kicked out of the speedway stadium and were ground sharing the season before their disastrous season. I think they had to leave their ground share so could not attract any players and fielded a bunch of kids from the local park each week. Currently 7th in Wessex Div 1.
