Ah, but the Ressies and 18's have their fixtures to fulfil too. If the pitch is fit it will be played on. If not, it won't. Consideration has to be taken when the 1st team play, if they cut it up will it be fit for the other fixtures? Perhaps that is why it didn't get played on at all yesterday? It is being rested for the other important games...... Grin

we have three first team home games left - they are by far the most important games and should take priority over ALL others. we need the pitch in tip top nick for these games and any secondary games should not be played if they could cause ANY damage at all

That is in your opinion. Take Tuesday for example. The firsts did not play last Saturday, therefore the Ressie game on Tuesday night will be to keep them match fit - therefore being important. That aside, the Ressies and the 18's do have fixtures to play and there is nothing secondary about either of them teams. Ask their management and players.

You are a one dimentional fan - as in you only see the 1st's. Consider yourself 'agate' to my 'diamond' i am multi faceted and can see the bigger picture. Without the other teams at Angels - the 1sts will ultimately be nothing.  Smiley

one word

PROMOTION

simply if we dont get it this year it will be lose to a disaster

at every club the first team is the priority and thats why we must make sure the pitch is 100% for the last 3 games. Not let every game scheduled go ahead regardless.
Sorry if this offends your all encompasing views but ask every fan what they would rather have, the first tema promoted or success for the other sides and 99% will Im sure go for the promotion.

The directors of the club have already decided that promotion is a remote possibility this season. Therefore they have decided that if it rains then all 1st team action will be called off so to save face. The Ressies will be used to give the 1st teamers a run out and the 18's kept fit to fill in next season for the Ressie team that will take on the 1st team places. That is why the game was called off on Saturday morning at nine a.m. We all know the pitch would have been fit enough to play on by 3. What other explanation is there for it?

No, i'm thinking of Angels silly. Or i'd be on one of my other forums  Roll Eyes. Any way, if the pitch becomes totally unplayable Dobla is gonna second the Edenbridge facility and take away the enjoyment of the games the other 18's, the 16's 15's and all play on there. The Youth will be fulfilling their fixtures into the Autumn. But, Dobla likes the bacon rolls and over priced coffee that Edenbridge Rugby Club affords us.  Grin

we also of course have to save the pitch for the most important game of the year

the supporters X1 V Ks X1

after the main game
us skill players need a billiard pitch to demonstrate our skills

You've got me snookered there Pete  Shocked You boyz and your balls aside, i'm really looking forwards to the Supporters game v Kings straight after the 1st team action (weather permitting, it may be at Edenbridge or even the council pitches at Longmead).

I've decided to come in fancy dress. I think Aaron may not be able to make the game. I will be wearing a red curly wig and black NHS thick rimmed spectacles and will be uncensored behind the goal - the only 'supporter' more vocal than i is likely to be Dobla  Grin

When do we get to see your profiles?

the profiles are in Dans court

we are fully expecting a high level of support and abuse

I think for Dobla the word REVENGE is going to be very sweet

cant wait to hear the first team barmy army in full song though
