Ho Ho Mike !

Great plan, as long as the fans at Hastings,Leatherhead, Walton and most significantly Newport I.O.W dont buy more tickets and win the lottery ahead of us.

All of the afore mentioned grounds are more likely to waterlog than ours ! tickedoff

Anyone know why the pitch inspection was so early?
Was a strange one I gotta admit. Forecast was for sunshine, which at this time of year is much stronger. There was zilch sign of any rain on radar.
Would like to think these Refs use Science and technology .. MUHAHAHA!  Grin
If it was November-February... different ball game.
So, I guess the pitch must have been *really bad* or the reff got it wrong 'cause the club will lose money on the gate and lights next week.

Well done DGD!
I have no isue with Charlie or any one else including the ref who made the call. What I am struggling to come to terms with is that our pitch, which I hasten to add probably recieves more attention than most during the close season, was the only one waterlogged today and that the decision to postpone the game was made at 09.30 in the morning.

Sorry to be a pain but I was looking forward to a nice beer and football match today. Instead I got shops, moaning missus and "Deal or no Deal"

Last word won't whinge any more, promise!!

I went to Longmead this morning. Rained again last night and the pitch is still under water. I hope it gets the chance to dry out in time for the Ressies Tuesday night and the U18's on Wednesday.  Undecided

good news is the pitch has over a week until the nxt first team action so if reserves and u18s do get called off it has time to improve.
