Sorry folks no update last night (FTP situation still not resolved - hope to update tonight) - so here is Gazza's preview:

Tonbridge Angels vs Lymington & New Milton
Saturday 18th March 2006
Ryman Division One

With just 9 league fixtures remaining, the Angels desperately need three points on Saturday in a bid to kick start their promotion campaign as Lymington & New Milton visit Longmead for the first ever time. Having defeated our opponents back in October at Fawcetts Field 2-1, with goals from Jay May and Luke Piscina either side of the interval, Tony Dolby and his men will be looking to complete the double over their Hampshire visitors and maintain their 100% record against our visitors. 'The Linnets' travel to Longmead on the back of a poor run of form, having been beaten by Whyteleafe last weekend and winning just the one game (against Ashford Town) in their previous 8 outings. Lymington boast a rather inconsistent record on their travels and will probably be underdogs for the game, having picked up only 19 points from 17 games this term. A major problem for our visitors is the amount of goals conceded away from home, 37 in total, with just Newport IOW leaking more. Hopefully the Angels'  strikeforce can take full advantage of this statistic and pick up maximum points.

Star Man - James Stokoe - Forward - The pacey ex-Eastleigh striker is Lymington & New Milton's leading goalscorer this term.

MG, have faith - this is the game where we kick start our push for Ryman Prem. I really do have a good feeling about Saturday, I think Luke's presence, just being there, will give everyone a real lift. If we can get a goal, I have faith that they'll start flowing again and we won't be able to stop... Cheesy

This game could decide everything. 3 points, and auto promotion would still be an outside chance. Draw or loss, and you feel we'd be in the ' fighting for the playoffs' category. So all is not lost whatever happens, but.....   Grin

Ive always maintained 85 points will be needed for auto

thats 25 from the last 9 games so we cant afford any more defeats.

Tomorrow is a must win- anything less and we have to start accepting that the playoffs will be our fate- not a nice thought
