Dolby was on Radio Kent agian, and whilst he was saying much the same sort of stuff, he explained what he was feeling in more considered words ... mainly that we have a bettter run-in than most of our opponents for the top / play-offs. I think that he may have been a little shell-shocked just after the match and didn't really explain himself quite as he intended.
We aren't going to get another manager ... so why urge for one. Dolby has to, and does keep positive ... what else do you expect from him?
The dabate on this forum has been fantastic, however, and with some marvellous posts and opinions registered. Just what this great forum often produces.

We're all on here talking about a new manager but let's not lose track of this season. None of the names mentioned would leave their current clubs at this stage of the season and all would demand big money. So do I presume we stick with Dolby until the end of the season, and if we get promoted will he remain? From what I see a change may be a good idea but lets not forget that Dolby stayed with us when lots of people ran and for that reason I have massive respect for the man. My personal choice would be Chris Kinnear for next season, but what if Dolby was reading all this and thought "thats it , no more" and tendered his resignation, who would put their head on the block then?

It is funny how often Oldhan's plight keeps mirroing Tonbridge's.
Fianncial problems Poor performances despite chasing promotion Dissatisfaction with the manager
It was interesting to read the comments re Nick Sullivan taking over the team. At the transfer window, Oldham sold Chris Killen to Hibs. Chris "Slack Alice Sicknote " Killen then slagged of Oldham and blamed our chairman for not playing him ( as we would have been due to pay Man City an appearances fee). The Chairman is quite a youing chap and very honest, and said "Do I think I could do a better job-of course I do, so does every fan0-but I would never tell the manager what to do, he would just blame me for anything that went wrong!"
Take note Nick!
