MW, they were unlucky to lose at our place but on the other hand, I didn't think the football they played was anywhere near good enough for a side challenging for promotion. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

DirtyGreatDonkey has been saying constantly that our problem is that we overpass the ball at times, and I tend to agree. We only begin to 'lump it forward' when chasing the game.
Funny thing is Gazz we did actually 'lump' it in 2nd half. Falana came on for Main, and he played alongside a more forward looking Sodje, and there were a few hoofs coming in. The first time I can recall us trying to really hoof it (not talking about long passes\balls on the break here!

) The tactic was not succesful though, but coudn't blame Dolby for trying this.
Falana hasn't really had much first team football\full games lately so he's gonna struggle a bit till he gets more full games, even as sub, and the probably why he hasn't really done much apart from getting himself into that great position against Walton on Saturday

. He did get himself about when he come on though, 100% effort can't deny that, and he has the strength to cause problems for opposition. Thought Main played good again, his pace and touches always gonna cause problems. Just no goals lately... no confidence and because he's out there to do that it must be tough for him.
Must admit I'm getting tired of us conceding goals on the break. It's getting the same every game. We are getting caught big time.. defenders pushing up trying to play offside trap (I think?) .
Well done to Logan who seems to be the only player prepared to have a long shot these days. Lack of confidence rears it's head again but we look abysmal in front of goal anyway so why not have a go. We saw yesterday sometimes it can work, keeper coudn't hold it, came out and Logan ran in .
Something else that's concerning...
All our goals are scrambles, something is definately wrong...
We look slow going forward to me, then try and pass it in, a massive great build up, but by then there's a wall of players.. what to do?
Most teams goals in this league are exactly like the ones against us in the last two matches (and many others) That is fast moves from defence, no dollying around, a long ball\pass (not a hoof

) played, or a 2\3 pass move out of defence. But it's all very fast... none of this 'Subbuteo' stuff. We don't seem to have much wing\ crossing element either?
Just to say I love 'Brazillian type football' but most goals in this country are scored by the two above, especially conference and below, yet I see hardly any of it watching Tonbridge at the moment? Correct me if I'm worng.. I do stand behind the Goal and it is harder to see.
Still, the end of the day Dolby has been in the game along time and as such, has a clue, and I would put alot down to lack of confidence in team of course.
A draw wasn't too bad because we've got ourselves in a rutt, and what's the point of saying 'no its not good enough' when the whole club is under the kosh abit. So I woudn't knock him for saying what he did on the radio.
I don't see the point of these types of threads although it could be relevant come the end of the season, and this is the fans forum so people are entitled ( as Hawkangel reminded me ) But we are here, in the present, and we must get behind the manager and stay together.
just my opinion.
