Dobla is a passionate committed fighter, he aint gonna walk away from a job. I don't think he should either...

Jesus guys, have a look at the league table then have a look at our fixtures, they're all winnable from now till the end of the season. We are a good enough side, and in the thick of a promotion battle. With all the comments I've heard lately, we're starting to sound like Dover, or in a relegation battle. Sad

My point is, why be so negative all the time?
We're still in the running for promotion?!

According to public opinion (on here) the majority of fans want Dobla to stay. We can't speak for all the paying supporters as we are in the minority.

Martin Farnie is doing a wonderful job at Tunbridge Wells but the Kent League is a whole different ball game. I doubt he has the experience necessary at the moment. Alan Walker is not an option, unless, of course, you like watching the club suffer with players leaving, no money etc.... Huh

Gazza, you are either suffering from memory loss or are not in true possession of the facts. IIRC we ran out of money because a company called Brewers decided to renege on their promises of sponsorship instalments.

Until then Alan Walker was doing an outstanding job using his budget (set by the sponsorship promises) to attract players of the highest calibre to the club, and getting the best out of them to the extent that we were running away with the league after a phenomenal unbeaten run of some 24 games or so.

When the problems surfaced Walker, rather than cut the budget and lose crucial squad members, actually agreed to manage the side without pay for a month to give us an opportunity to replace our sponsors. Walker was then released by the Board after the disruption affected performances.

You can't blame a man for spending the money he has been given to spend.

Totally agree.  The only people running are those teams who have been running rings around us recently.  We need to look at how we were playing beginning of the season as we seemed to get it right everytime.  Lets hope that the come back Saturday will boost the team Wink
