Another disappointing show in front a very disappointing crowd. There's still enough games to go to get the points needed for promotion but it looks like we now have to depend on the teams around us dropping points while we try for maximum available...

...all said and done, the last handful of home games have been utter crap so let's hope that this is our bad run at an end...

...if we don't get out of this league this season, then next season will be even tougher...

On last night's performance we don't deserve to be in this division, let alone one up.

Fraser Loagan was my man-of-the match (was there an official one?)  and Adam O'Neil, when he came on,  was a breath of fresh air.

However, there is still time to reverse the trend.  We still have the players to do it  ... a little more self-belief is all that's needed .... and, oh yes, keep the ball down.

Its not just a little more self-belief thats need - it's a manager who knows what he's doing.

'Once again we got caught on the break, like all the goals we've conceded lately'  - reminds me of last season !

I was amazed that we kept Dean SMith who looked useful in his few mionutes Saturday on the bench yet chose to keep Danny Ward who didnt impress on the pitch for 90 mins after he failed to start the past 2 games.

Also with due respect to him- because he tried very hard but is just a bit young and small at the minute-  putting faith in Adam Oneil to turn things round when he hasnt made a first team appearnce for ages was a bit tough on the lad. He should be getting games when we are 2 or 3 up and can play with no pressure

Good point. Adam O'Neil when he came on had determination and fire in his performance, certainly showed the old hands how to play football. Bit of experience and he won't get shoved off the ball.

Yep, i couldn't understand that one. Almost as if he put him on in desperation. He did well though.

Thought Wade did well when he came on too. Won a lot of the headers when the predictable ball over the top came over. Shame know one was reading it.

I just can't understand why Dobla feels he needs to keep improving the team with players. No doubt the players that he is signing are good but you can't expect them to gell in one or two matches. I can't see why he felt he needed to change things as such an impotant time in the season.

And another question, why was Fraser playing in the middle? Surely he's a wide left sided player who can whip balls in. He's too lightweight to play in the middle i think.

It was a poor game yesterday and to be frank I thought we played better on Saturday and created more chances on Saturday and came away with nothing against Walton.
The team are lacking some spark at the moment but there has been so many changes to the team recently it must be hard for the lads to get some kind of pattern in their play. O'Neil and Wade done well when they came on but I dont think we done enough to win the game. At least Dolby tried changing tactics to play 3 in the middle of midfield but not sure Logan should have played infield. I think he's more effective out wide, maybe Dean Smith or Danny Lye should have played in there.
Thank goodness Bashley's effort at the end of the game hit the post and didnt go in, another defeat would have been terrible.

Because changes were needed as we were not performing to the standard needed for promotion.

Regarding individual players yesterday - Sodje - His first touch and control was abysmal. It's really started to bug me since the game. Plus his inability to see the importance of not slouching back after the ball has been lost (usually by him) so as not to be caught off-side just incase our midfield collected an errant ball and managed to do a hoof back in!

Falana, unlike Sodje - can jump. Won all the aerials and had no one to play off! Had a bit longer on the pitch yesterday, and looked a threat. When fit he will be good to watch for the full 90.

Barmy Army started with the 'Graveyard shift' as promised. But, one of the funniest things was the chant of Halleluja when we scored! Made me laugh my head off!  Grin Cheesy Grin

Powell and May out suspended. The changes had to be made.... we're lucky we have the players available.
