Just to carry on the obsession with this thread, what the hell is happening with him ?
He didn't pay for the ressies on Sat, oldnew said his suspension was subject to appeal allowing him to continue playing, he wasn't with the 1sts so:

Where is he ?  Can we have some official comment Nick/Dobla or should we just forget about him Huh

Either he is disinterested or perhaps something else ?

As I understand it, Luke wasn't eligible to play in the cup semi-final on Saturday with the ressies and he is not fit enough (according to Dobla) for first team action.

Would be good to have Dobla or Nick to come on here and tell us whats what though...

He can't be any less fit that Wade, Leroy, etc, etc.   Why not send him out on loan, I'm sure our good friend Mr Walker would be very interested !
Besides, he's actually scored in the last couple of months unlike our many "strikers"

His fitness and discipline would be the only thing keeping him out of first team I would have thought.
Great player, we really miss him starter or sub. and he could be the kind of player who could make our forwards score right now.
Well, it's been done to death here.

Kent Intermediate Cup.
Eligability allways used to be:
Players not eligable: If they have played in any of the last 3 1st team games or in more than 50% of 1st team games this season.

In other words Luke spent Saturday gaining the match fitness he apparently lacks by sitting on his arse all day, rather than getting 10 minutes off the bench at the end instead of Leroy Huggins.  Roll Eyes

Dan I totally agree.  If you want him fit then get him out there.  Give him the confidence he needs by playing/supporting him.  I can also tell you that Luke is doing his best to keep fit I'm sure and Dengal, you're probably right

Luke looked pretty good to me Saturday before last.

He played well .... and didn't look anything other than FIT.

well then, it looks as though it's a case of falling out of favour or the classic "a difference of opinion between player and management" ..unless of course he hasn't been training in between...who knows, least of all us.
With our current lack of scoring surely it's best to give anyone a try;  fit, unfit or in-between.
Sadly without official comment this is fast becoming the most topical person discussed without him having been near the 1st team for 5 months.....come on, let's not go down the douvre laughing stock route please.
