Agree with oldnownewangel. Decision making from the bench (or lack of it ) was rather odd.
Really frustrating why Ward wasn't put on the replace Lye .
Barnes is struggling at the mo. He farted about in possession with no real penetration. Recon he's playing too deep (guess he's trying to get hold of the ball), you'll see Lye in front of him a lot of the time which can't be right.
Please tell me that Luke hasn't been kept out of the team due to some petty squabble with Dolby.

Real shame ay! Just can't seem to pick it back up at the moment. Come on boys, lets see some of that pre Christmas action again! MG - your guess is as good as everyone elses!

I have resisted posting for a couple of days as I was so P*****d off after Saturday.
It is all very well saying we had more possesion in the second half and we did not deserve to lose,but this is becoming a regular occurence.
I don't have a problem with our latest signins,but they will not solve the problemw we have at the moment. We are in danger of copying our friends on the coast by getting in proven goalscorers and then demoralising them by not playing to their strengths. Dover have had Rook,Cooper and Dryden, 2 of whom have left after being slagged off by the fans when they haven't had a any service. We have had in recent times,Brady,Haughton and now John Main ( who is a class striker at this level ) and continued to punt the ball forward or if we bring it forward,it is done so slowly that we end up going sideways. There is no quick penetration ( have I
spelt that right Jane ? )
Midfield is the problem and there is no point in bringing in forwards until that is sorted out. Was Danny Ward not brought on for a reason on Saturday?
Don't mean to sound negative ,we are still in there but need a result at Whyteleaf,
see you all there.
