the reduced family ticket is a great idea - it might get a few more partners through the gate who dont come now.

When briefly speaking to Nick last night for a couple of minutes, I was absolutely amazed at the efforts he is putting in to push the lcub in the right direction. I had no idea that he was so involved and I think that his enthusiasm really rubs off on Dobla and all of the other lads.

Sometimes people behind the scenes don't get as much of a mention as the lads that actually perform on a Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Nick really does deserve a knighthood.... Grin

I must also stress this is a fans' forum for people to express their opinions and I sense a little arrogance in suggesting anything that differs from NS's point of view as 'negative'. One case in point being that a member of this forum was apparently approached to post a 'positive' message on this subject because NS was annoyed with the negativity!! Pete - I will push hard the point here and now: this forum will *not* become a propaganda machine for the club.

On another note the reduced "family ticket" idea is good and will definitely benefit the club long-term, good work NS and the Board. Smiley

I think your post says it all Dan.

The thing that i found most disappointing was the lack of communication regarding the ticket pricing.

What about the season ticket price?

Yer you can f**** right off am i payin 8 pound 2 watch angels, i am paying two pound tops. as much as i 'enjoyed' watchin their ability to play football 8 pound is pretty steep

I went to see TWells play last night against Grays (conference team). And before anyone pipes up that i'm a traitor - think again, because i watch as much footy as i can, and always have - because i am a 'supporter of football'.

Value for money i must say. They won 5-1 against a very young Grays team - probably their U18's but none the less, it was a footy fix. I was glad to see plenty of other Angels fans supporting footy on the night.

Always a warm welcome at Culverden. Nice bar, good polite service, great food counter and a pleasant atmosphere.  Smiley

Entry fee was £1 a goal - couldn't complain at that!

No, not in this context. I feel like i've been completely cut off. You, Pete are the first to admit your only interest is in the 1st team. Mine as you know has been in all the teams. I have been to all the 1st matches - some ressies before i could go away to the 1st's and to all the midweek 18's. I also support the younger Youth teams on a sunday. I love my football and have supported Angels.

So, to be told i would not be admitted to the first friendly of the season unless i apologised for swearing at the Bar Mangager - Harry the pot man because i had to suffer weeks and weeks of his foul attitude and disgusting atttitude to me - You are having a laugh. I agree it is wrong to swear - but when you have a pig oinkin in your ear and will not go away when asked nicely and is becoming more and more distainful then - yes, i will stick up for myself.

For the club and especially the chairman to go back on his word to me - just because the pot man though offensive helped him out with the donkey work at the club - what do you expect?

And don't gimme the 'bigun' about it being unladylike to swear - it is also ungentlemanly - what i said  was not nearly as bad as you hear from the bench on a saturday - i'm not condoning it - but i don't expect to be  penalised for something the chairman, the manager and most of the players do - week in and week out.

I will always support football - but the politics and the double standards i can do without.
