Admission Prices

It was 'suggested' a few weeks ago by the club that the prices are to be reduced to £7 following relegation, however it has now been announced on the other site they are to be £8. Can someone from the club explain this? We will surely be the most expensive team to watch in the league!

Nick stated at the Angels Shareholder Meeting, that ticket prices WERE going down so i guess what you have seen is a typing error

When the beavers were in Ryman Div One, the majority of clubs charged just 6 for adults...don't know if this is still the case?

I can confirm prices are
£8 Adult
£4 OAP
£2 kids

Personally I advocated strongly for a reduced kids rate as £4 was by far the highest in the league and unfair on those with no money (who sponge off their dads !)

I also was in favour of keeping the Adult at £8 - to be honest what difference does 100 whole pennies make and thinking laterally if we get crowds of say 400 that could be the difference for paying for  another player. Is anyone serioulsy not gonna turn up because they havent dropped? I dont think so. But more will come if we are up the top.

Quite a lot of difference to someone short of cash, particularly if you have a few games called off and a glut of matches later in the season.

You also say you "were in favour" and "advocated strongly", have you been involved in the discussions about it then?

I know two or three people that were reluctant to come as often as they'd liked due to the high price last season. I should think that will be more so this time round.

Agreed, I think £8 for adults this season is absolutely ridiculous, especially after suffering relegation. Bearing in mind most other clubs will be charging around £6-£7, why do we feel that we have to be the most expensive in our league?

Several friends of mine refused to come to a few matches last season because the £8 being charged was not value for money..

Am I right in saying that the price went up to £8 last season because we went up. So on that basis, shouldn't it be reduced again as we've dropped a division?!

Sorry but £8 is just too much for this league. if we were in the Premier then we could get away with £8. but not for Division 1.
