If you thought Saturday's refereeing was farcical...

Turned up Sunday morning to find a stream running through the bog of a pitch we were scheduled to play on - the referee decided to play the game even though it was starting to rain and the football struggled through the opening 45 with both sides all square at 1-1.

With the pitch getting worse fouls were being given for any range of tackles however minor, and we stretched into a 4-1 lead only to be pegged back to 4-4 with extra time looming in a crucial cup tie.

Having disallowed our 'winner' after the most dodgy of line calls from their substitute, the referee finally abandoned the game after 90 minutes and we have to go through the whole sorry charadé again.  Angry
