Seriously of the English contenders- Pearce by his own admission is too inexperienced, Curbishley- I dunno he just never inspires me when I listen to him. McLaren- well waht he ever doene xcept spend Boroughs millions and maybe this year get them relegated. Which leaves Big Sam. Dunno why you pray for him not to get it Dan-There was a very interesting piece in the paper at the weekend about how well his teams are prepared and the back room set up at Bolton which is second to none. He has sorted out the nutirtion and well as the players psychology. Maybe his teams dont play beautiful football but they are effectiev and he gets the ebst out of ordinary players.
There fore (as Lewis would say ) IMVHO he is probably the best qualified ENGLISH coach.
If Martin Oneill was to return to football he would be a great choice - as for all the others Phil The Greek or Gus Huudjink might well be decent choices but would have the pleasure of the great British press which has set about destroying the current (foreign ) incumbent
As for Sven - set up - but f**k me how niaive can a bloke get. First he shags that ugly moose Alam then he lets a fake sheik shaft him. Gotta question his judgement a bit.
