Entertaining game today. Both keepers made a couple of mistakes but all 3 Tonbridge goals taken clinically. Both John Main and Razer looked sharp up front and the Barmy Army were in good voice. Nice to see Mr Mortley being wound up.
Shame all the other top teams won but we are still in a very strong position with essentially 3 home games in hand.

a hard fought 3 points .fair dos to Ashford who played better than their league position.pitch was very heavy and did thelp our skilled players like Fraser. two fine goals from the Main man. howler from Mikhail to let in their first but he redeemed himself with a good 1 on 1 save. still be nice to see JJ back soon - but get that hair sorted Leroy looked very sharp coming off the bench and was cynically tripped by the Ashford no 2 who didnt even get booked.
A good game to win as teams will drop points there- now 10 points clear of Dopver

Very happy with another three points, showed a lot of character this afternoon.
Mikele had a couple of lapses of concentration (one leading to their first goal) but made up for it with a fine save to deny Adrian Stone his hat-trick. John Beales was excellent as usual, could have grabbed a rare goal but drilled his effort narrowly wide. Chopper and Wattsy were very quiet today, got their heads down and worked hard. Richie Ponsford played very well, excellent cross for Jonno's first goal in an Angels shirt. Barnesy and Lyesy were quality in the centre of the park, emphasised by Danny bleeding after only a matter of minutes. Smudger was decent down the right hand side, spraying some decent passes to the forwards. Fraser was unusally quiet due to the poor pitch, just couldn't get the ball down and run at defence. Unlucky not to have scored when his low effort hit post. Razor and Jonno seem to have struck an excellent relationship immediately. Looked sharp, quick and didn't stop running all day. Razor's volley gave us the lead and he could have doubled his tally had he taken a late one-on-one. Jonno took his first goal well and has for his second, well, I don't think any keeper would have seen it, never mind actually save it. Good to see Leroy get a run out, was very sharp for final few minutes.
Credit to Ashford though, they played pretty well second period. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they took points from teams at home. Thought Adrian Stone was particularly impressive, should've had hat-trick.

Could not believe that first 5 minutes of the second half, we had so dominated the match I saw no way back for Ashford, but come to the finish and it is no exaggeration to say we could have won 6-2. Missed last week so first look at John Main and I have to say what a good acquisition he looks.
