Somehow ended up on Wellings site after following a few links, and saw this story.

Matt Lee was today released by Welling United and at present has not joined another club. Matt Lee was already on non-contract terms but was today released to allow him to search for a new club. Matt Lee joined the club back in 2004 but a bad injury kept him out for almost the whole of the 2004/05 season. The defender played almost 20 times for this Wings this season before being released by the club.

Bring him back to Angels! Thats what i say, and i'm sure Fenwick would love to see him in a Angels shirt again  Cheesy  Wink

I think he could be a decent squad player - he obviously has got the ability, otherwise he wouldn't have played for Gravesend or Welling for so many years. Remember he had just come back from a serious injury last year when he joined us, so of course he wouldn't have been at his best. I think Cray have done well to get both he and Matt Lovell.
