Are they the only ones who welcome those wishing to be part of the "ATTENDANCES"?

I wish Dan would add his notes of the Meeting to the forum, as there were some very valid points made that can only help if people read this site and forum for news and views and as they say, any publicity is better than no publicity. We die hard forum members seemed to come away with a 'feel good' feeling and if that can spread, then all to the good....

The meeting gave a good insight into the ideas and thoughts of the board and management.

It would be good to be able to read them though as i'm sure there are bits i have already forgotton.

Well, when you walk in and are greeted by them they make you wanna come back for more! Not forgetting the raffle sellers too  Tongue. From the minute you walk into the ground you've got to feel like you belong. Little Jimmy always gives me a warm welcome too  Cheesy Depending who is on the gate taking the money can be dependant on your intitial impression of the club. A warm smile is better than a sour grimace  Roll Eyes

Hawky! When you go into a chemist for condoms, you want discretion. When you go to the supermarket you want your groceries and not a lot of chat about the tiller's piles. When you have your hair cut you want the stylist to listen. When you go to Tonbridge Angels you want to watch good footy.

Ok, so the footy can be mediocre at times, but what you get in exchange is the atmosphere, the expectation,  some good banter in pleasant surroundings....Bit like the trip to the chemist, no matter the outcome, if you score or not, if it's done with a smile, you'll go back for more and more... Cheesy

Offtopic, but next time there is a meet the manager\chairman meeting, we should be able to email the manager or ask questions on this board, then these can be asked at the meeting, with a write up\answers on the forum afterwards.
I think Dopver had an 'ask the manager' thing through email.

I think that facility was on offer. I remember last year that we were encouraged to email Dobla and put our views across. Unfortunately no one ( but me Cheesy) made use of this chance. What a waste of an offer for a once a month answer to our queries!

Perhaps you'd like to resurrect the 'Ask the Manager'! Donkey. I believe the email address is still current as Dobla told me he is still ignoring me  Grin  manager@tonbridgeangels.co.uk
