| Sunday, 1 December, 2002: Kent Youth League. TAFC (U-18) 1-2 Cray Valley (U-18) A brilliant performance from the Angels in atrocious conditions at Hadlow College. Tonbridge played the opponents off the park with some excellent football. However, its a funny old game as the saying goes and Cray scored with the only two chances they made. Charlie Hawks scored a Beckham like free kick for the Angels but many other chances were either squandered or saved by the busy Cray keeper. Outstanding performances from all but special mention for Patch Blackman and Tom Haverson who starred in the murk. Jon Heath completed 45 minutes after his recent operation and showed his recovery is on course. Report by: Geoff Curtis. |
